"Today is a bright sunny morning. I take my son, gather up our helmets and head to the back yard to get the bicycle; we are on our way to work and daycare.

I am one of those people you see on the streets of the city, wedged in traffic or bumping along a sidewalk, a toddler strapped into a little seat on the back of the bike.
